                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 7414
                   GOODWIN ROAD, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF
                   GOODWIN ROAD AT DENTON LANE, FROM R-1
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL
                   ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 7414 Goodwin Road, being
                on the southwest line of Goodwin Road at Denton
                Lane.  The northwest 280 feet of lots 1, 2, and 3,
                block C, Subdivision of a Part of the Northeast and
                Southeast Quarters of Section 11, Township 6 North,
                 or 2 South, Range 3, West of the Basis Line, Ocoee
                District, as shown by plat of record in deed book
                T, volume 27, page 620, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 3267, page 971, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 159A-B-17, 18, and 19.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
